Food is at the center of our life. Unfortunately it seems likely as if during the last century the relationship between human being and its food dramatically became worse – especially in the so-called industrial nations. The appreciation of the "daily bread" is in a crisis with global impact.

A variety of social developments are responsible for this. Industrialmass production, globalization of the market, alienation from nativeness of food because of dependence or the disproportion of the global distribution of food, to name but a few.

The time has come to change. The negative effects of the contemporary "food-lifestyle" on the togetherness of nature, animals and humans are indisputable.

What is the World Food Union?

The World Food Union is a visionary concept with the claim to inspire each and every on of us to discuss about the status of food in our society. The visualisation of this institution has also the request to generate further ideas and food for thoughts  that might have capability not only to describe but also to solve suchlike problems regarding food.
